About BC11
The Bernstein Conference is the central scientific meeting of the Bernstein Network Computational Neuroscience. This year, it takes place in Freiburg On October 4-6, 2011 and is combined with the annual Meeting of the tri-national Network in Neuroscience Neurex.
The National Bernstein Network Computational Neuroscience (NNCN) represents about 200 Research group leaders from over 20 locations in Germany, covering all areas of modern neuroscience. The NNCN is thus one of the largest research initiatives in Germany and the only network in neuroscience of its kind in the world.
Neurex is the most important European network in the field of neuroscience, be it basic, clinical or applied. Created in 1999, it federates 3 countries (France, Switzerland, Germany), 100 laboratories and 1000 researchers of the Upper Rhine Valley.
BC11 is organized by the Bernstein Center Freiburg, and Neurex, in cooperation with K&K GmbH
